Dear guests and friends of our establishment,
On 07.06.2025, a fire occurred in our restaurant. When Michelle returned from shopping to begin preparations, the smoke detector was already sounding the alarm. Thanks to her quick and decisive actions, as well as the magnificent support of our long-time employee from the Reithof, Arthur – together with Alain and Rafaela Andres, Roger and Cristina – the worst was averted.
The source of the fire was in a room above the restaurant where all the building's electrical systems are located. Due to the courageous efforts of our team, the fire was contained before the fire department arrived. The Konolfingen fire brigade was on the scene with impressive speed and brought the fire completely under control.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who was there in that moment, who thought clearly, helped out, and showed courage. You didn't just save our restaurant; you saved our home.
Even though the shock is still deep, we are looking forward: our restaurant will remain temporarily closed, but we are working with renewed energy and unwavering determination to be there for you again soon – with fresh motivation, plenty of heart, and full of drive.
